Adding a quick border in Photoshop is an easy process. This can be especially helpful for photographers to canvas their photographs before printing or posting work to the web. Here is one way of creating a quick border in CS4:

Step 1:

Open an image in Photoshop It is important to start out with a flattened image (There is only one layer in your photoshop file).


Step 2:

Go to Image > Canvas Size


Step 3:

Choose a unit of measurement. If you are posting to the web, use pixels. If you are sending your image to a printer, use inches.

Step 5:

Easy border!
